 Changing playlist views
- You can now seamlessly switch between Sorter and Organiser views within the same playlist, combining the functionality of both playlist types for an even more powerful curation experience. Explore this feature further with this video.

 Sending clips from output reports to playlists
- You can now send instances directly to a playlist from an action button in your Code Window, meaning it is now much easier to get insights from your reports into your presentations while reducing the time and effort required to curate and organise content. Click here to learn more.

 What did we improve?
- You can now customise the highlight colour of instances on your timeline, helping you identify selected instances with ease. Click here to learn more.
- You can now listen to the audio of the currently previewed angle in the capture window for IP feeds. To access this functionality, you can enable it in the Hudl Sportscode settings. It is worth noting that this feature is still in the experimental phase.
- We've updated the following qualifiers when using OPTA Rugby League Import in Hudl Sportscode:
- “Penalty" - This will now display as "Penalty Conceded" to indicate penalty direction.
- "Unknown 40" - This will now display as "Ball Movement".
    - Added in new qualifiers to PTB Result; Pass Type, Penalty Group, Substitution Reason, Attacking Action Type, Defensive Action Type and Ball Movement
- The time remaining displayed when uploading playlists is now more accurate.

What did we fix?
- Issues related to relinking clips in a playlist.

Hudl Sportscode 12.5.0

Screen Recording
- You can now effortlessly share your presentation using Hudl's latest screen recording tool, accessible directly from the Sorter and Organiser. 

 What did we improve?
- When loading the Upload Playlist modal for large playlists it no longer feels like Hudl Sportscode becomes unresponsive.

 What did we fix?
- Translated texts on the Upload Playlist modal now wrap rather than being clipped.
- Playlists that were failing to upload to hudl.com due to an AWS error now upload correctly.
- Email addresses containing an apostrophe can now be used to login to hudl.com through Hudl Sportscode.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.27 

 What did we improve?

- You can now drag and drop external videos directly into your playlists. 
- You can now easily switch between timelines within a video package directly from the timeline toolbar. 
- When running your Saved Searches in your timeline, any new searches will now be automatically added to the toolbar icon.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.26 - Hotfix

 What did we fix?
- Timeline data in the Sportscode XML is now included when uploading to Hudl.

What did we improve?
- You can now drag and drop slides directly into a sorter or organiser, making it quicker and easier to create presentations. For more information click here.
- You can now control the visibility of the video player zoom indicator via the ‘View>Video Control’ setting.
- On successful upload of a Playlist you can now open your Hudl Team Library directly from the progress queue.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.24 

 What did we improve?
- Search results in the find window are now updated with changes in the front timeline, front playlist and selected database.
- You can now remove duplicate labels from selected instances in a front timeline or database. 
- You can now import Opta data for Rugby League games to your timeline.
- You can now retry uploading a playlist to your Hudl Team Library from the Progress Queue if it fails.

 What did we fix?
- You can now upload a playlist to Hudl with a name containing a forward slash.
- The default angle button radio button is now preselected when changing from a multi-angle to single angle playlist on the Upload Playlist to Hudl modal.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.23

 What did we fix?
- A performance issue that occurred when completing consecutive captures whilst also live sharing.
- Improved video download performance when joining a live share session.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.22

 What did we improve?
- Playlists can now be uploaded directly to a team's library on hudl.com without needing to upload it on the website.
- You are now able to utilise the trackpad to interact with videos within Hudl Sportscode. Pinch to zoom in to all video players and utilise a two finger swipe to scrub through footage.  

 What did we fix?
-When presenting on an external display, videos will now remain synced whilst using playback controls.
-Using Live Share between Sportscode versions is now backwards compatible (except for 12.4.20 and 12.4.21). Previously using Hudl Sportscode version 12.4.19 or below wouldn't allow users to Live Share sessions with version 12.4.20 and above.
- Hudl Sportscode will now use less machine resources when using the Capture Preview Window

 What did we improve?

 What did we fix?
- Corner events imported via STS Datahub will now start when the corner kick is taken, instead of when the corner is drawn.
- Delay on the capture preview window on Intel machines when using IP feeds from Antrica encoders has been reduced.
- Playlists with slides uploaded to Hudl.com now play back correctly in Hudl with no black frames or overlapping clips.

Find Window Improvements
- You can now duplicate a saved search making it easier to curate similar searches.
- Advanced find search queries are no longer case sensitive.
- You now have the ability to re-order your saved searches by drag and drop; making it easier to organise your searches.
- An advanced find sub-query now displays the correct results for 'Is Not'.

 What did we fix?
- Playlists containing effects on the first frame now display the effect in the correct position when uploaded and viewed in hudl.com.
- Downloading and opening a multi-angle package from a server now correctly opens the package.
- Capture frame rate is now remembered after unplugging and plugging in local capture devices.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.15

 Find Window Improvements
- You can now search across any Playlist as a data source, using 'All Playlists In Folder' or a 'Custom Selection of Playlists'.
- We have made it easier to update Saved Searches, as they will now autosave.
- You do not have to save a search in order to retain it, you can now close the find window and, upon re-opening, the unsaved search will still be there.
- It is now easier for you to save, delete, import and export searches, with a new and updated layout.

 Universal Build
- Hudl Sportscode now runs natively on Apple Silicon machines (M1, M2 etc.), this removes the need for Rosetta.

 What did we improve?
- You can now edit information in the Sorter without the clip starting from the beginning.
- You can now control the size of the Instance Player through menu item 'View' or using the keyboard shortcut: 'Control' + '>' or '<'.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.14

What did we improve?
- You now have more time when flagging to add notes to playlist instances - we've introduced an automatic pause before the clip resumes play.
- Rows edited in a sorter now automatically highlight, making it easier to see what you're changing.
- When using the Hudl Remote, the video control buttons now allow you to press and hold.

 What did we fix?
- In the Statistical window, the rank and unique rank scripting commands now support decimal places.
- When in a sorter, previous rows are now automatically selected after deleting a row.
- When importing basketball games via Synergy, you will now see the Period field properly populated.
- Removed the ability to save a Playlist downloaded from Hudl.com as a sorter for Pro and Pro review license types.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.13 

What did we improve?
- You can now search for any code, label or note within your front playlist using the new and improved Find Window.
- Champion Data imports now support Center Bounce Throw Ups events.
- STS Datahub now displays data from competitions that don't have any clubs linked.
- Labels and instance notes are now supported for Playlists downloaded from a user's Hudl Team Library. This applies to new playlists that are uploaded to Hudl from Sportscode.

What did we fix?
- Importing a DFL XML or from STS Datahub now allows Shot actions within a KickOff event.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.12 

What did we improve?

- Users can now choose to download Playlists from their Hudl Team Library as either a Sorter or an Organizer.
- Updated Capture Inspector messaging to include sharing to Insight.
- Users can now import Synergy data from Baseball games.
- Users can now Relink Video when the playlist is open via Relink Video in the Edit menu.

What did we fix?

- Labels will now be saved when added to a Playlist downloaded from Hudl.com.
- The insufficient permissions alert now specifies that the microphone permission is also required.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.11 

macOS Catalina- As of the 12.4.11 release we will no longer be supporting macOS Catalina. 12.4.10 will be the last release supporting this OS. For the best experience, and to make the most of recent HSC improvements, customers should now upgrade their macOS.

What did we improve?

-Users now have the option to de-interlace timeline video when capturing RTP feeds discovered via SDP files provided they are on Apple Silicon.

-You can now download playlists from your Hudl team library as an organizer via 'Open from Hudl' 

-When sending from playlists to databases if the clips come from different timelines we respect the ordering in the playlist instead of sorting by timeline .

What did we fix? 

-You can now access the instance context menu in a timeline and organizer by pressing ‘Control’ and clicking the instance.

- Fixed an issue when Collaborative Coding with the same Code Window that would result in rows with the same name being duplicated in the timeline.

- The sczip file generated from an Upload to Hudl now uses the correct thumbnail.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.10 

What did we improve?
- Hudl Sportscode will now remember the size and location of your instance player windows on your active screen.
- We've added more editing controls for clips in the timeline. When editing a clip, by releasing the drag bars, the edit bar will refresh.
- You can now launch your Find Window from the main menu bar.
- You can also get to your Find Window with the shortcut 'Command' + 'F'.
- When sending clips from Insight to a Hudl Sportscode timeline, the timeline instances can now be sent on to a Hudl Sportscode Sorter or Organizer, without having to save the timeline first.

What did we fix?
- Saving a playlist via the menu bar would cause Hudl Sportscode to become unresponsive.
- The statistical window will correctly retain the cell selection when performing row and column actions.
- When entering full screen we now retain the set playback speed.
- Corrected a visual issue in the video export pop out.
- Charts will now always display 0 values.
- Instances sent to a playlist through the find window, will now populate the ‘original instance’ data.

Hudl Sportscode 12.4.9 

Find Window
- You can now easily search for any code, label or note across your timeline, database or a custom selection of folders with the new Advanced Find feature available in the Find Window (CMD+F). For more information check out this blog.
- You can now save your quick and advanced searches within the Find Window (CMD+F); now you will only need to build your queries once. You can also share these searches with other members of your team with our new import/export option.

Heatmaps
- You can now use Heatmaps to visualise location data in HSC, providing more context to game events and identifying trends. This can be achieved without any knowledge of scripting. For more information check out this blog.
- When using Heatmaps you can also tag your own location data and see this update automatically in real time, live or post game.

Statistical Window
- You can now use the statistical window to manipulate data into a standardised format so that it can be copied and pasted into other applications, such as Excel.

What did we improve?
- You can now send instances from Insight directly to your Hudl Sportscode Playlists.
- You can now open Insight directly from the timeline, using the menu item (File > Open Insight) or using the keyboard shortcut 'CMD' + 'OPTION' + 'i'.

Hudl Sportscode 12.3.8

What did we improve?
- An opened timeline is automatically closed if a user cancels the download.
- Added an icon to display when a fixture has tagging data attached.
- You can now make more adjustments to the clips you wish to edit within a sorter or organiser. When editing a clip, by releasing the drag bars, the edit bar will refresh.
- Changed the overlay text in the sorter to reflect the row number of each instance.
- In the sorter; when entering a cell containing labels the text cursor will default to the end of the cell.

What did we fix?
- Fixed an issue with the drag rectangle in an organiser disappearing beneath the rows and instances.

Hudl Sportscode 12.3.7

What did we improve?
- Added video playback controls to all editable cells in a Sorter row.
- Added a link to the progress queue to the main navigation bar and as an option to add to the timeline toolbar.
- Dates are now prepended to package names that are generated via Open From Exchange.

What did we fix?
- Fixed an issue with live notes not displaying multi-line notes correctly, in certain scenarios.

Hudl Sportscode 12.3.6

What did we improve?

- Added a new preference item to the existing Rows preference to control whether instances merge or remain separate when manipulated in the timeline. This includes creating a new merged row or extending, duplicating or creating an instance.
- Added ability to use 'CTRL' & click on individual rows to open the context menu in the sorter.
- The latest version of Studio includes some exciting new features, some time-saving enhancements to the calibration workflow, and support for rugby. Click here for a blog that explains all the details.

What did we fix?

- Fixed an issue where Synergy data wasn't being imported properly
- Fixed an issue where the Open From Exchange scroll bar didn't default to the top of the fixture list after changing seasons
- Fixed an issue where black video was inserted into playlists that have been created from Open From Exchange video

Hudl Sportscode 12.3.5

What did we improve?
- You can now queue up multiple games in 'Open from Exchange' to download. If you're doing opposition research, or just need to download your last few games, simply select each game and it'll get added to your Progress Queue. And you'll still be able to start working on your first game download right away.

macOS Mojave
- This will be the last Hudl Sportscode update that supports macOS 10.14 Mojave. Mojave users will no longer be prompted to install Hudl Sportscode updates.

What did we improve?
- Added ability to select which video angle you want to download via ‘Open from Exchange’, so that you can access the video you need quicker and use less disk space on your computer.
- Added ‘Original Video Time’ on instance player (via timeline, matrix, find, code window), database and playlists to provide more context about when the moment occurred in the game. This value is also present in the playback floating controller in fullscreen mode.

Hudl Sportscode 12.2.47

Matrix

- A custom matrix can now be created using complex label queries and applied across different data sources. When a matrix is applied to any open timeline or database, the row names (codes) will be updated to reflect the new data source while labels remain unchanged. Custom label queries can now be created in a matrix using AND/OR/NOT operations.

Database

- To make databases equipped with latest framework changes, an upgrade has been carried out. Older versions of Sportscode will be prompted to upgrade when opening a database file that has been opened in this version.

What did we improve?

- Hudl Sportscode added support for SDP feeds in IP capture.
- When editing an instance note in a sorter, tab+control can now be used to commit the change and move to the next clip with the edit note field ready for editing. Similarly, the Shift+Tab+Control hotkey can be used to move to the previous instance note.

Hudl League Exchange
You can now download video and data from Hudl League Exchange from within Sportscode. In Sportscode, go to File > Open from Exchanges, and log in with your Hudl account details to get started. - Reference playlist icons (white) and standalone playlist icons (blue) now have different background colours to help differentiate playlist types in the Finder. It is important to restart the machine after updating for this change to take effect.

Live Data Optimization

• You can now configure which instances are shared live to other devices running Sportscode or Replay. You control this via the new Live Sharing tab in the Code Window inspector, and you can modify the sharing status of coded instances via row and instant context menus on the Timeline, as well as a Live Sharing button at the bottom of the Timeline.

Find

• Significantly improved performance for Find window to search through large data across multiple timelines and folders. Results are now returned up to 30x faster.
• Added an option to include sub-folders when searching an entire folder using the Find window.

What did we improve?

• Improved rewind button on Hudl Remote and fast rewind on player controls to progress past the current clip when multiple clips are selected.
• Row name of a slide can be edited now and the new row name will be retained when sending to other Playlists.
• Letters used in flagging hotkeys can now add flags, regardless of caps lock on or off on the machine.
• Instance adjustments are now supported with command+control+Z hotkeys to drag all instances to a certain location on the timeline. Command+control+X can also now be used to drag all instances to the right of the playhead. If adjusted during a live sharing session, these instances get adjusted on the live viewing machine too. Keyboard shortcuts for Align all and Align right in the timeline are now option+z and option+x to so that they do not conflict with the new instance adjustment keys.

• Hudl Sportscode now supports searching for instance notes in timelines via Find window.

• Updated Opta Football import to incorporate changes for the 2019-20 season.

• An issue which caused jittering when playing 720p video with slides or titles.

What did we fix?

• It is now possible to filter players in the talent center by age in a more wide range (from 15 to 23 years old).
• We fixed a bug on XML team based where the "end location third" labels of actions with a shot were incorrectly reported.

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug on the wide angle playback. Now the two halves of a match are correctly visualized.

• Concacaf Gold Cup Competition added to Rankings and Advanced Search.

• Fixed a defect on the team report. Now it's possible to download personalized reports for teams playing in competitions with active season but without played matched.
• Fixed a defect on team logos. Now they are visible also in the team's overview page.
• Half star rating is now available also for Scouting Area desktop version.
• Fixed a defect on Set Pieces application. Now the team Austin FC is correctly visible in the search result in the main page of Set Pieces web application.
• Fixed a defect on the offset of the wide angle videos. Now the offset inserted by the operators is correctly shown on the platform.

• We added 16 NCAA competitions to Wyscout Advanced Search.

• We renamed a label in the Ranking application (Attack-->Goal section). The old "From free kick" is changed to "From free kick shot" to better explain the precise event that generate the goal.
• 5 labels of the Japanese localisation has been updated in the Playlist and Draw application ("Area", "Highlight", "Visible Area", "Goalkeeper", "Attacker").
• 3 labels of the Japanese localisation has been updated in the Event selector page ("Passes", "Smart passes", "Key passes").
• 5 labels of the Japanese localisation has been updated in the Advanced Search application ("Matches in start", "Matches substituted", "Matches coming off", "Contract expires", "Height").
• 1 label of the Japanese localisation has been updated in the App switcher ("Ref manager").

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug that was blocking Scouting Area after playing a video attached to a report both in view and editing mode.
• Fixed a bug on the sharing functionality of the platform, now all e-mail notifications should arrive properly.

• Fixed a bug in the stats calculation pipeline: now "Match Tempo" metric is calculated in the same way either in the Stats Tab inside the team page or in the Matchday Report.
• Fixed a bug in the Penalties app: now the shot direction chart is always visible.
• When the dark mode is enabled on Wyscout and the user searches for a team or a player on Penalties landing page, the letters typed was not visible. Now it is fixed.
• Fixed a bug in the Ranking application about the position in the ranking of an item (team or player) that sometime was not correctly displayed.
• Fixed a bug in Scouting Area: when a player is removed from a team-sheet in the report creation mode, and a youth player from a linked team is added, after saving the change, the youth player was displayed on the team-sheet. Now it is fixed.

What did we improve?

• Reduced the contract expire filter range on Advanced Search. Now it's possible to set a minimum of 6 months instead of 1.5 year.
• Republic of Ireland First Division, Greece Superleague 2 and Norther Ireland Premiership stats are now available on Advanced Search and Rankings.
• Creating a report on Scouting Area is now possible to select every youth player connected to the senior team.

What did we fix?

• Added Russian translation of all Belarus players.
• Fixed a bug in the general search where the competition indicated for some teams was not correct.
• Consistency issue fixed on Rankings application: now the age/seasons components is coherent amongst the various tables of the app.
• Fixed an issue on the Pre Match Report: standing section is now available in the Pre Match Report for the Russian FNL competition.
• Fixed a bug in the Stats section of National team: now all the years are available on the timeframe filter.
• Fixed a bug in the Advanced Search: now in the XG90 filter option, you can select values higher than 0.17.

What did we improve?

• Contacts inside the "Customer Care" section in the Wyscout platform were updated.
• Added Liga MX Femenil to Advanced Search
• In historical mode in Advanced Search now we show historical team name instead of current team name

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug in Scouting Area app: the labels now are suggested properly in all the situations during report filling. Avoiding the risks for the users to create duplicated labels.
• Fixed a bug on the Scouting area that was inserting the wrong match date in the reports of some competitions.
• Fixed a bug in the Scouting area that was creating performance problems in the match reports with all the players added.
• Removed TSN reports tab from all the player pages.
• The exported pinned players now have the same timeframe you set in Advanced Search.

• Fixed a bug on Agent app that was blocking the possibility of adding new players in the Agency portfolio

• Added competition NCAA ACC to Advanced search and Ranking data
• Divided Goal kicks in short and long, like regular GK passes (after goal kick rules change, since it's now allowed also in penalty area)
• Allowed players with missing age to be seen in the Rankings app (skipping the minimum value of 17 yo)

What did we fix?

• Fix a date conversion bug, affecting certain matches, played in different timezone, which led to have different dates displayed for the same match, with one day of difference
• Fix a bug that prevented the search to work properly with the apostrophe
• When a player had no birthdate, the date representation was not the same along the platform. Its visualization has been changed and displayed in the same way
  
• We fixed a bug about Platform notification system where a user kept receiving notification messages for teams or players that were not in his favourite list anymore.
• We fixed a bug on RefManager where any user with push notifications enabled received a notification about discussions shared by someone else inside his group/subgroup even if the original discussion was only shared among a limited number of users but not with himself
  

What did we fix?

• Fix the list of competitions in the "Add Competition" menu in user dashboard
• Fix the visualization of the month label in the match date of a teamsheet
• Fix Group structure of MLS is Back Tournament by updating its configuration
• Fix the external share feature when trying to share a match link
• The issue that was preventing women players to be added in Player Lists and Shadow Teams was fixed.
• The thresholds for displaying average and accuracy stats in Rankings were recalibrated to ensure a more realistic distribution of players.
• Fixed a case where a red card for a player on the bench was breaking the new events API.
• Fixed a case where a red card for a player on the bench was breaking the match calculation.

What did we improve?

• Updated the team sheet to support jersey numbers composed by zeros (eg. "0", "00") and in general any combination of numbers up to 3 characters.
• Removed the "change in position" column from the competition's standing table.

What did we fix?

• Fixed an issue with the video distribution lists that prevented the users from downloading videos in wide angle format
• Fixed a display issue on the Talent Center and Noise Feed purchase panel that was showing an old pricing model
• Fixed a display issue with the minutes format on the team sheet that was showing third period formats in matches that only included two periods
• Fixed a display issue in the agencies portfolio that was showing some person as Unknown instead of Coach or any player's role
• Fixed a display issue on the team sheet that was preventing it from showing up in the video player
• Fixed a display issue in the MLS competition that was showing all teams in both conferences

New Teamsheets

Teamsheets in the Platform are now fully compatible with NCAA rule set (eg. rolling subs support).

Minor changes in UI: beside each player's name you have now the chronology of related events during the match.

Wyscout Reports - Update

The new Wyscout Reports Set is completed with the release of the new version of the Player Report.

Our Report suite is composed by:

• Match Report
  Shows statistics about a match, like match sheet, stats by player on the pitch, teams’ head-to-head match dynamics, stats, formations and various events.
• Player In-Match Report
  A page with detailed information about player in-match performance. Shows stats, actions on the field, passes distribution and challenges against the opponent
  Also available for GKs.
• Team In-Match Report
  Report compiled from “Player in match” reports of all team players and goalkeepers that was on the pitch.
• Prematch Report
  Compare stats of teams which will face in a match. Shows teams’ head-to-head rosters, formations, stats, events and top players by various statistics.
• Team Report
  Provide information about any team. Shows roster, player stats, formations, basic information about every match you have chosen on the platform, build-up, set pieces and various events. Report is customizable by matches that team played.
• Player Report
  Shows player career, stats by matches and relevant for his position information. Each relevant section contains events on field, comparison with other players from his league by various stats and detailed statistics packed in tables.
• Season/Matchday Report
  This is about competitions. Report is customizable, it can provide information about whole season or just a matchday. Report shows standings table and play-off grid, goals’ analysis, teams’ rankings by various stats and players’ top-10 by various stats. If report in matchday mode it also shows main info about matches that was played in chosen matchday.

Wyscout XML download - Importable in Hudl Sportscode

An improved version of the Wyscout XML for all matches to be imported in Hudl Sportscode has been released.

Scouting Area App - Improvements

A new improvement of Scouting Area mobile app has been released.

In view mode, it will be possible to tap and see the video attached directly inside the report.
It will be available the video connected to the entire report and all the videos connected to chapters and paragraphs.

New Notification System

A new notification system has been implemented in the Wyscout Platform.
Is located on the top toolbar, and will notify users on:

• Match content availability
• Processing downloaded and uploaded videos
• Scouting Area notifications
• Shared content
• Database updates

As you review video in full screen, both coaches and athletes can create highlights with the click of a button.

Athletes can edit single highlight clips before publishing. 
Edit individual highlights before sending them to a highlight reel. This means athletes can trim and add spot shadows or text before adding those clips to their public profile.

There's a maximum file size for individual clip uploads. 
We’ve added an official file size limit so you'll know if your uploaded files won't make it online. This means no more waiting to see if it'll upload.

This will:
• Allow individual files in an upload at 20 GB maximum (and tells you that before you start).
• Let you know which file caused the problem. Simply split the file into smaller pieces, or convert it down in size.
